Suan Thung Uncle Pee

Suan Thung Uncle Pee is a restaurant and resort in the Kham Thale So district of Korat. It's about 10K west of our home. The restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes in a rather unique and cluttered atmosphere. There are two dining rooms. One is air conditioned, but we prefer the ambience of the open air venue.

Main entrance to the open air dining room.

I really like the natural stepping stones.

Inside is a collection of all sorts of memorabilia.

Mam peruses the extensive menu.

More interesting stuff. It's different every time.

There's a big lotus pond out back.

We usually sit in this corner. It's nice and quiet and has a lovely view of the pond.

This is green curry with roti. One of our favorites.

We also ordered stir fried vegetables in oyster sauce.

Old fashioned home made ice cream bars for dessert along with an espresso for me.

The grounds are lovely.

More stuff outside.

Al Fresco dining by the pond out front.

View of the open air restaurant from across the lotus pond.
